Regarding titles - any intuition regarding how hiring managers view differences between titles? My title is HF Engineer, and it seems like a mixed-bag whether recruiters and non-UX folks in charge of hiring are able to connect my title to more popular choices (UX researcher, user researcher), though role is largely the same.
That's a good question! I have an opinion, but I'd rather take a closer look at some job descriptions and see if something emerges from the data. Look out in a future report!
